ORIGINAL NARRATIVE
Truman Burbank is a normal man, living in a normal town. He grew up to be a desk clerk for an insurance company, living an ordinary life, having an ordinary wife, an ordinary neighbour and an ordinary bud who pops in from time to time with a six-pack. But Truman is not happy with his life. He wants to see the world. He wants to get away from his happy-happy, ever-tidy, nice'n'shiny little island town at the seaside.
In reality, Truman was an unwanted pregnancy. His "father,"  a reckless TV producer whom he never met, made up the Truman Show - the greatest show on earth - a show in which life is lived. As a result, everyone around Truman is an actor with a small headphone in his ear.
One day, Truman accidentally bumps into a catering area backstage and gets pretty suspicious. He meets this woman who tries to warn him about the production, and he slowly starts noticing how his surrounding environment revolves around him. Eventually, he figures out the reality, and Christoff tries hard to get Truman to stay but fails to do so.
The movie ends as the viewers and fans of the show cheer for Truman's freedom and a happy ending.

ALTERED NARRATIVE

Unlike the original narrative Truman chooses to stay back as it is the only familiar environment he has ever been in.

Truman looses his authenticity in the show.

The audience starts losing connection with Truman and the numbers start taking a hit.

The show is desperately relying on advertisements to make revenue and creating forced content for veiwers.

Years pass; the show loses even its few viewers and decides to end. The Truman Show dome is deconstructed, and Truman is set out in a new world where no one knows who he is anymore.

The movie ends with Truman left in a field in the middle of nowhere, left alone to figure out a world he never knew.

CONCEPT
Lost in Fall
The shoot is a continuation of the last scene of a reimagined narrative of the film 'The Truman Show.' The ending of the changed narrative has Truman left stranded in the middle of a field on the real planet, trying to figure out his existence after the show fails terribly. In the outcome, I attempted to highlight five Fall/Winter trends for 2023.
